In order to achieve your Apprenticeship:
  • BHTA can help you find a workplace (you can also work towards your Apprenticeship if you already have a job)
  • You will receive a training wage
  • A coach/assessor will visit you at work regularly (eg once every 2 or 4 weeks)

There are 2 different levels of Apprenticeship, which depend on the level of your job:

 
Apprenticeship 
Advanced Apprenticeship 
Type of job role

You can be new to the job to complete an Apprenticeship, with a varierty of tasks to complete in your role

You need to have been in the job for a while to have areas of responsibility (eg supervising projects, staff)

Vocational Qualification Level (eg NVQ)

Key Skills

Application of Number Level 1 
Communication Level 1 or 2

Application of Number Level 2 
Communication Level 2

Technical Certificate (separate Knowledge Qualification)

Separate Level 2 qualification which covers the knowledge for your Apprenticeship (apart from Warehousing and IT)

Separate Level 3 qualification which covers the knowledge for your Apprenticeship (apart from Warehousing)

Length of Programme

12 months

 18 months
